PIE SPOILERS!!!

It’s not really a leak, per se. Rather, the schedules for each individual day are beginning to be posted to the Comic-Con website, even though they are not yet linked from their programming page. As of this post (or, rather, the previous one), the schedules for Thursday and Friday are available.

Update: While we all wait for the Saturday schedule page to actually include the Saturday schedule, what follows after the jump is my initial take on the panels I’m interested in on Thursday and Friday. These two days are scheduling fusterclucks, and I’m not looking forward to how Saturday will look.

Update: Comic-Con apparently caught on to the fact that these schedule pages were easily discoverable to anyone who knows their very obvious URL scheme, and has taken them down. But the fine folk of Galactica Sitrep have posted pdf files of the Thursday and Friday schedules for you to download.

Update: Actually, it seems the Thursday schedule page remains on the site and accessible at the URL above.

6:00-7:00 Exceeding Expectations and Exploring New Worlds: Feature Effects for the Small Screen— Zoic Studios moderates a discussion with VFX supervisors on their passion for creating narrative enhancing, eye-popping effects for television. Some of the best in the business discuss future trends as well as their contribution to the television series Heroes, Battlestar Galactica, The Middleman, Lost, Eureka, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Smallville, and the new fall show Fringe. 6:15-7:00 [adult swim]’s Robot Chicken— Seth Green and Matthew Senreich (creators/executive producers) speak about [adult swim]’s original series Robot Chicken. In its third season, the network’s Emmy-winning stop-motion and animation show known for its pop culture commentary has just released the episode Robot Chicken Star Wars on DVD. Room 6B

7:15-8:15 Mystery Science Theater 3000 20th Anniversary Reunion— From 1988 to 1999, the long-suffering captives aboard the Satellite of Love wisecracked their way through hundreds of cinema’s problem children—those delirious B-movies of yesteryear created by twisted imaginations and, possibly, the need for a tax shelter. 8:30-11:30 The Spirit Presents the Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards— The 20th annual Eisner Awards, the “Oscars” of the comics industry, will be given out at a gala ceremony. This year’s special them is “The Magic of Comics.” Presenters include comics creator/director Frank Miller (Sin City, 300, The Spirit), Spongebob Squarepants creator Tom Kenney, and Jane Wiedlin of the Go-Gos, plus several other celebrities from comics, animation, and film. Other prestigious awards to be given out include the Russ Manning Promising Newcomer Award and the Bob Clampett Humanitarian Award. The master of ceremonies is Bongo Comics’ Bill Morrison. 10:45-12:00 Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog— The story of a low-rent supervillain (Neil Patrick Harris as Dr. Horrible), the hero who keeps beating him up (Nathan Fillion as Captain Hammer), and the cute girl from the laundromat he’s too shy to talk to (Felicia Day as Penny). This musical in three parts, created for the Internet and written by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon, Zack Whedon, and Maurissa Tancharoen, premieres in its entirety on the big screen at Comic-Con. Room 6B
